Swimming in the Pool

Okay, so as soon as I unpacked our suits, Haston and I just had to try out the pool at our apartment complex. Fun times! Pool isnt heated. That was a shock. and it was only about 90 degrees today so was little chilly. This little mexican girl just attached herself to us the minute we walked in the pool gate. Her possy of friends were playing find the quarter in the main pool and we watched and splashed from the (hot tub). Obviously not being heated at the moment. But was fun non the less.

Moving Sucks

I stared at the back of this PENSKE truck

yesterday for 7 hours. Suffice it to say, if you ever need to call penske?? I've got the phone number commited to memory so feel free call me for it. For those of you that dont know, our stuff has been in storage for the last 6months. We have been living out of suit cases at Jeremy's Grandparents house. 6months is WAY longer than we intended to stay but..... oh well. Now we have decided to stay in DALLAS. We found an apartment close to the grandparents so we still have the access to free childcare, and should be moving in a few days. And the reason i stared at this truck for 7 hours?? Our stuff was in storage in Corpus Christi which is really far away from dallas. We did the round trip in one day. Very long day. Left at 6am... didnt get back till 10pm. only good thing is that we left Haston with Amie(Jeremy's mom). That would have been a disaster. Jeremy and his dad drove the truck and i followed them home in our car. Just me. By myself. Was lonely, but i got to rock out to MY music, and sing as loud as i wanted with no one to give me dirty looks.... except all the other drivers passing us up. I also listened to a book on tape on my ipod called STEP ON A CRACK, by James Patterson. Was interesting. Not my usual book taste but the end, i had laughed, cried and screamed! So , good book to pass the time. Okay, thats all. My novel is ended for now. Hope you can follow all my rambling. Love Ya'll!! P.S. We hoped the Hurricanes would wash away our storage unit. Then we could cash in our insurance policy and get all new stuff. No such luck. Bummer.

Haston's New Favorite Thing:

He has been saying "light" now for a while but he has finally figured out the source of that light. He just giggles and giggles for hours. Cant help but giggle with him.

Sunday Afternoon in the Park:

After draging Haston around with us to look at apartments and then to get some lunch/dinner we decided he had been such a good boy that he deserved alittle fun. This is a park about a block away from Buck and Patsy. We come to swing and feed the ducks mostly. Today however, Haston wanted to slide. And slide we did! We also like the climbing rock for peek-a-boo. Fun times!

Dinner in the Heart of Texas

So, you know you live in the heart of Texas when dinner for the night is Speckled Butter Beans(pictured above), boiled cabbage with bolonga, squash, and corn bread. Suprisingly, Haston will eat these things. Must get it from his Great-Papaw(pictured above). Dad, you would love this dinner im sure! I mostly just pick at it but Jer??? He made sure he was late comming home from work today.... does that suprise anyone? ;)

Bath Time

I thought this was a super cute video of Haston. Now i dont want to start a fight with liz or colby-x, this is almost as cute as colbys tiny white butt. Might even be cuter...
