Welcome to the Texas State Fair!!

We went to the state fair last week and we had a blast. Was kinda expensive so we did it right the first time cause we prolly wont have the time or money to do again. Was lots of fun. They have everything there.
Most of the pics are from a kids area where the got to plant, farm, milk a cow, ride tractors, and then when they are done, they "sell" there grown vegetables back to the workers and get a fair dollar and they can buy something from the store. crackers, granola bars, pack of gummies, stuff like that. He really liked that part.

Not a real cow in case anyone was wondering.

This is a huge monster truck that Haston didnt quiet know what to do with.

Uncle Josh's Wedding

This last weekend down in Austin, Tx we went to jeremy's brother Josh's wedding. Was lots of fun, if a tad to warm. Wedding and party were all outdoors.. Atnight. (julie, i would show you pics of my legs, but just look at yours and you know what im talking about.) This is a super cute pic of H and Dax(jer's brother Adam's kid). This is right before h leans in to kiss him. Was a Kodac moment i would have caught if i had been faster with camera but it was still reloading after taking this one. Sucks. but i think someone else got it so i will steal a copy. Either way it was cute.!

Haston and his "HORRSIE". they are donkeys in reality but try explaining that to a 2 year old. we also saw some Horned sheep.. dont know if actually sheep have horns but they looked like sheep and a bull crossed together.
This is haston having a full-on conversation with the violinist. She was very sweet to him and pretended to understand him and talk to him while she played. very talented..

Haston being his adorable self. He was great for the before wedding stuff and the after wedding stuff but for that actual wedding?..... well lets just say i saw them walk down isle and then kiss. rest of the time was spent in the pasture trying to keep h quiet cause you could here everything out there. and he kept trying to tell me about the donkey and trees and grass... and other stuff i didnt catch. But, we in all had a great time and even stopped on the way home in Waco so we could take a tour of the Dr Pepper meseum and so jer could get his pure sugar cane dr pepper fix for a while. the case we bought should last him a few days atleast..:) also stopped at this great old bakery think was called Collin street bakery? and bought a Fudge pecan pie... was interesting and huge. Lizzy, you should make it some time. Tasted like someone shoved a super rich brownie and a piece of awesome pecan pie to gether in my mouth.... might go have the last slice now since i have made my self hungry.
So, that was our weekend. Fun time was had by all and H was a trooper in the back seat with his portable dvd player and all the disney, manny, dora, and elmo a boy could ask for.! love to all!!!
