So, you know you live in the heart of Texas when dinner for the night is Speckled Butter Beans(pictured above), boiled cabbage with bolonga, squash, and corn bread. Suprisingly, Haston will eat these things. Must get it from his Great-Papaw(pictured above). Dad, you would love this dinner im sure! I mostly just pick at it but Jer??? He made sure he was late comming home from work today.... does that suprise anyone? ;)

This is just the kind of stuff they serve around here and charge a fortune for as "southern cuisine!" You're lucky to have someone cooking for you, is all I can say. Good for Haston. :)
