1st day of DayCare:

So, i'll gove you all the run down. Day started for

me a little before 6am. got dressed and ready for work at 630am. Very lucky to have work just down the street. Jeremy got H up and at'um around 7am. Jeremy drop H off at the very nice Jp morgan chase Free Daycare. Jeremy leaves H to play in the purple sandbox. Seems okay. H notices Jer is gone..... Not happy. Cries for a while.... refuses to eat the breakfast he is provided. Not happy much until he is alowd to go outside and play. Ms. Mildred (his teacher) says really enjoyed the slide and pushing this stoller type toy around. Laura is across the street at work worried sick about him. On her lunch break at 11am she rushes across the street to check on him. Trying for him to to see her. but just needs to check and make sure... you know what i mean? Anyway, when i get there they are just comming in from out side and once again he is very not happy that he has to come inside.. when i get there he is screaming about it. Unfortunataly there isnt a good place for parents to check on kids without being seeing. as he walks in the door.... he is crying and see's mommy... starts crying harder and runs up to me with his hads up and this expression on his face that i know to mean" why are you mad at me and why did you leave me here?" I stay for a little while and try to calm him down. He is so tired at this point that he is almost asleep on my shoulder. Ms. Mildred says it would be best if he not sleep till after lunch which is why they have come inside to begin with. So, i sadly say good bye.. while he is once again screaming and hugging my leg. I am quiet proud at my self that i didnt cry with him.. sure wanted to. He then rufuses to eat lunch. finally falls alseep. sleeps for 2 hours. wakes up in time for juice and crackers.. which he only wants the jucice. I mean while rush to get off work and go get him and find him drinking his juice. he starts crying and pointing to the door. bring him home feed him... alot because he is way hungry from his hunger strike and take him to the pool to try and make himi not hate me anymore for having to go full time. THAT is how his/my/jer's Horrible No Good Very Bad Day Went. Fun times.

Hang in there sweetie! Haston is resilient and will begin to enjoy it after awhile. It's probably hardest on the Mom.

Before long, I bet he loves daycare just like he loves going to Mamaw/Papaw's. He'll figure out about the snacks and the toys and the other kids and it'll be great. Just stick with it. You are great parents. Better that H learn this stuff now than be one of those lame 6 year olds crying all through Kindergarten because his parents never let him out of their sight!

Hold strong Haston! Hold out a little longer and make them give you something extra fun for your birthday.
He is learning the how to work the system at such an early age! Way to go H!
